FX & Fixed income Application Support Sepcialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1/L2 production support for FX and Fixed Income trading platforms, including electronic execution and order management systems
  • Support 24x5 / follow€‘the€‘sun trading environments, including on€‘call or weekend rota where required
  • Proactively monitor production systems, responding to alerts and minimizing business impact
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and problems end€‘to€‘end, including root€‘cause analysis and post€‘incident reviews
  • Support market venue and client onboarding, connectivity, and STP workflows
  • Work closely with traders, sales, quants, operations, and technology teams to resolve functional and technical issues
  • Perform system releases, configuration changes, and maintenance across multiple environments
  • Liaise with internal development teams and external vendors to deliver fixes and enhancements
  • Develop or enhance scripts/tools to improve monitoring, automation, and operational efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting FX and/or Fixed Income trading systems in a front€‘office or desk€‘facing environment
  • Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows, OMS/EMS, and market connectivity
  • Hands€‘on experience with Linux/UNIX, command€‘line troubleshooting, and system monitoring
  • Working knowledge of FIX protocol and trade lifecycle processes
  • Scripting or programming experience in Python, Shell, Java, or C++ (one or more)
