Design, develop, and maintain Java€‘based applications supporting core financial products and workflows.
Work closely with business users to gather, clarify, and refine requirements, ensuring solutions meet functional and non€‘functional needs.
Implement new features, enhancements, and integrations with internal and external systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and well€‘tested code following best practices and internal standards
Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development processes.
3+ years of hands€‘on experience in Java development (Java 8 or above preferred).
Strong understanding of object€‘oriented programming, design principles, and common Java frameworks (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA).
Proven experience developing financial applications (e.g., trading, risk, payments, portfolio management, or other capital markets / banking systems)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non€‘technical audiences.
Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing SQL queries.
