Senior Network Engineer
Our Insurance client is looking for a high calibre to join their Network Team as Senior Network Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, cloud connectivity)
- Lead network security initiatives including firewall management, VPNs, and network segmentation
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Migrate on-premise applications to cloud platforms with focus on network architecture
- Configure and troubleshoot network-related enterprise ICT components and services
- Implement and manage software-defined networking (SDN) in cloud environments, especially AWS
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security across on-premises and cloud network infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network solutions for new projects
- Provide expert-level support for network issues and participate in on-call rotations
Key Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher Diploma or above in IT, Network Engineering, or related discipline
- 5-7 years' experience in infrastructure support with a focus on networking
- Hands on experience in routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and SD-WAN
- Proficient in Windows/Linux server environments and cloud networking (AWS)
- Experience with network automation, orchestration, and container networking (Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Jira
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience in the financial industry
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty or equivalent
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS certifications
