Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure to support innovative projects.
- Monitor system health using ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and ITRS Geneos, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes (k8s) environments for containerized applications.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and configuration management systems.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to embed reliability and scalability into service design.
- Operate and support Kafka-based real-time data streaming platforms.
- Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Contribute to SRE best practices, documentation, and operational runbooks.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years in an SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools: ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus, and ITRS Geneos.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience managing Kafka for data streaming.
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation know-how.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; thrives in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Certifications in Kubernetes, AWS, or related technologies.
