Production Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Provides level 1 and level 2 support assuring the accessibility of applications hosted in Head office and in Asia for Global Market Operations. Maintenance in operational condition on all the trading systems and provide user assistance
- Prioritize user requirement with user and propose solutions when issue in UAT in order to roll out the project successfully
- Perform the gap analysis between the legacy system and new vendor system
- Follow up system issue and raise to project team / vendor for resolution
- Draft test cases and execute system testing
- Prepare the analysis and documentation on technical incidents, address and follow up technical incidents remediation in relation to Head Office.
- Build and maintain frontend applications using modern Typescript frameworks such as ReactJS.
Job Requirements:
- 6+ years of in application support/ production support, ideally experience for the trading floor support
- Solid technical experience in Linux/Unix and good knowledge in SQL scripting; Shell, Perl or Python
- Familiar with DevOps tools: Zabbix, Kibana, Elasticsearch (ELK), Slack, Jenkins, Github, Docker or Ansible
- Understanding of production management (ITIL) concept
- Strong ability to support users in pressured environments
- Tech Stack: Linux/Unix, SQL, Python, C# and React JS
